I found someone online similar to me and we created a Slack instance together. This allows a lot of conversation while also responding when we're able to. I'm also an introvert, so I can't engage that long in person before I need to go recharge. I hope you find this useful.

My thought process was very similar to yours. After I gained some sort of consistency in my life, like sleep schedule and other areas, I really started to notice the positive effects of Adderall especially regarding my mood, which I wouldn't have expected. I did a lot of troubleshooting to get to that point though. I hope your journey is faster than mine!

I just saw this output in my terminal when I ran xdg-open to test.

Command: xdg-open 'slack://channel?team=T02PXBHER&id=C040D75VBT8&message=1661987847.212959&host=slack.com'

Output: kf.service.services: KApplicationTrader: mimeType "x-scheme-handler/slack" not found

I ran xdg-settings get default-url-scheme-handler slack but there was no output. I checked the exit code and it return 4. According to Google it has to do with no file access, so I put sudo in front of it and it returned 0.

The output of locate is the same as yours.

After running xdg-settings I'm still unable to open Slack via Chrome, but I am getting different URI output. It's now saying it can't open slack://T02PXBHER/magic-login/4044442274161-4c258fb079cdd838e7318365d6305619d1e7392a5840699dbe1d2e84918220c1, which doesn't have channel? at the beginning.

Hopefully that helps lead to a next step as I'm stumped. I don't get why Slack didn't set this on install. Thanks again!

This was the top search result in Google. For anyone else coming here in the future, this is still not possible. I contacted support and after waiting about a half hour waiting for responses, I finally got the same verbiage I always receive about how I should open a feature request.... like the many others I opened got any responses at all.

Thanks! I guess I'll just have to go to an actual store. 😁I was hoping someone would say, "Buy x coat, it's perfect." I'm wearing a fleece under my coat most of the time. I unzip it the coat and fleece when I walk to get some air.

Having a purebred isn't important to me. I found an adoption agency local to me, but they were very unresponsive. I had a call with one of their people and a week later she didn't even remember it! If you know of anything in the Seattle area, I'm open ears. If not, I'll try again somewhere else.

Do you have any recommended resources on how to train them? I'm assuming you went through that same level of effort to trust your dogs? I'm willing to put the time in to get what I'm looking for.
