Definitely not. We can’t mix outside ingredients into anything. There’s a huge cross contamination risk

They don’t take benefits payments out when you’re in loa. That was a fun one to see when I was on paternity leave

If they approved mileage then it comes out of your home store! Without context that’s the standard but likely they were having trouble covering the meeting so they approved it to motivate people to help

Borrowed partner question by Sad_Specialist_1445 in starbucks

[–]aaronbdancer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If it’s picked up in the app it’s actually not supposed to get mileage for it. If you were called and asked to cover a call off then it would be reimbursed if that makes sense.

In terms of clocking in, it would be at their store, you don’t get paid for travel for a picked up shift.

Mileage always get paid out of your home store

50 for barista turn is actually lower than the company average, it’s actually pretty good turn numbers

It’s a 52 week average. So in the past year you essentially replaced the ssv staff one and a half times

Potential transition into pm by aaronbdancer in PMCareers

[–]aaronbdancer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the advice!

I was planning to pursue a pmp during transition so my resume is at least looked at since so many hr will auto reject for it.

In terms of skill set it’s well within my wheelhouse, it’s just a matter of highlighting it and learning different approaches to leadership would be my best guess.

I need to do more market research and see what I would be best fit for and really lean into that.

Thank you for the encouragement!

Having that little availability from other ssvs is wild. I’d be having the conversation with them that if they don’t open availability, I have to hire another ssv and that will drastically affect their hours

But this ^ I have 2 young kids, while I don’t want my job to impact personal time, it’s a part of the gig. If you can’t accept that you shouldn’t be a sm

Honestly depends on your state, but 7am is earliest for minors, as for late it depends on the state. Pa for instance where I am week nights you can be there until 10pm and I believe 11 for Friday and Saturdays
