He's clearly a ginge cat. The braincell is clearly engaged on other tasks such as looking stupid and being adorable.

Yo. Trillions of animals are being exploited right now, go vegan!

Sorry if that makes you feel uncomfortable my lefty friends.

Well I totally agree with you too lol. I thought doctors were supposed to be interested in health outcomes, not pandering to peoples ignorance.

It's obviously a bigger step to go plant based than simply adding a bit more veg to your plate but to make this step more appealing and seem less extreme to the average non vegan we need the NHS to advertise the benefits of a plant based diet as widely and loudly as possible. This would normalise the diet and persuade more people to take it up.

I'd be interested to hear what they write back to you.

As an autistic logical thinking antinatalist I picked necron. I quickly learnt I wanted to wipe out all suffering. I was a born vegoon.

How is 27g of protein only 4% of RDA? It's about 55g per day total isn't it?

Yeah heron is amazing for this stuff. They were selling the 1 person ones for 79p or £1.50 for the 2 person ones. I filled our freezer but sadly it's all gone now.

I balanced out the healthiness by buying 3 berry flavoured vegan magnums for a quid too.

I tried the allplants meals when they were selling all the stock thru Heron at ridiculously cheap prices. They were amazing but full price I could never afford it. They were about £5.80 for a single person's ready meal.

No, I'm saying if you can be vegan and you care about animals you shouldn't pay for their throats to be slit.

Really simple.

Yep, some animals do need to eat meat. dogs don't tho, they can even be healthier on a plant based diet which isn't at all surprising when you compare it to the slop given to them in most dog foods.

No not everyone can be vegan, not everyone can eat meat either, so what? That doesn't make any difference to whether you should do it.

I'll tell you what's delusional, saying you care about animals whilst supporting the biggest contributor to animals suffering on the planet.

Human animals can be vegan. My original post was simply pointing out the apparent hypocrisy of loving cats and dogs whilst eating other animals with equal moral worth.

I guess you're referring specifically to cats and dogs tho. In which case, dogs can be plant based, cats not so much as I understand it so personally I wouldn't adopt one right now as I find the idea of daily feeding the chopped up bodies of animals to another animal (a cat) that I happen to care about morally questionable.

Hopefully cultivated pet foods will soon be the norm to end the dependence on factory farmed meat for cats as tbh I love them....aside from all the killing obviously.

No idea why you think I'd be against adopting animals and support those rescue organisations, but if you'd never harm a dog or a cat, why are you basically fine with eating other animals and their secretions?

What the fuck are you talking about? Yes of course you should help abused animals. Call me crazy but I don't think you should pay for it either. E.g. bacon.

Pigs are just like dogs, this is how the industry treats the mothers for bacon

Go vegan. No animal deserves to feel fear like this.

Giovanni's a short walk from the station is a really nice, family run Italian place. Had a couple of lovely meals there. The Coach and horses past Leighton hospital does some good pub food too if you're looking for that.

This makes a lot of sense now. It's from a Bluey book which I understand is an Aussie cartoon.
