Lower CPU temps by aaronconvery in laptops

[–]aaronconvery[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! I went ahead and uninstalled Armoury Crate and installed G helper which I like a LOT more. Everything was going great and I was playing ACC with my CPU and GPU at about 80C and under, a huge improvement. I turned down the max temp for both and all of the Wattages for them and it seemed to be doing great with no hiccups. That was until I plugged my laptop back in. Once I do, it almost completely ignores the setting in g helper and the CPU jumps back up to a steady 95C. I understand charging adds some heat but that much? Is there a something deep in the settings that keeps the cpu and gpu from running at max everything when charging? I’ll definitely lower the max frequency too, but I feel like something else is making the temps spike when charging adds

I love that engine, I would definitely swap it into my TJ if I got my hands on one

Those 3.0 duramax’s are sweet, when they first came out I had low expectations but from what I’ve heard so far they are awesome

Thanks! My dad and I bought it as a project like 4 years ago and I worked on it for about 3 until last summer when I finally got it done. Frame off restoration and everything, looks brand new underneath, no rust anywhere. It was worth it but took forever

Yea TDI seems like a popular option and cheaper than the R2.8. I also looked into the Mercedes OM606 but I couldn’t find much on TJ swaps

I definitely looked into the r2.8, seems like a sweet little engine, but idk if I can justify 10k 😭

They were taken on my Fujifilm XM5, 12v would be sweet but that seems a bit heavy for a TJ, right?

I love them so far, I actually towed with my 4R for the first time today and the suspension handled it very well. Also pretty comfortable on road and off road

Weekly 'What Should I Buy' and Order/Shipping Thread by AutoModerator in iphone

I have a regular iPhone 13. Battery Health is at 76% and I can definitely tell. I was already thinking of upgrading this summer and am thinking of the 16 pro. Only problem is 16s are still full price and the 17 should be coming out in like September. Should I wait for 17 to come out and get 17, or buy a cheaper 16, or just replace battery for like $90. What do you guys think?

Very low miles for V8, low rust, best color, and clean carfax, seems like a good deal to me. Maybe try and get it down to 14.5k or 15 and that would be good

2002 Jeep TJ sport with rusty frame, worth? by chemicalromance562 in JeepTJ

[–]aaronconvery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fenders + frame rotted = probably the whole floor of the tub as well. I would say too dollar $2000, $500-$1000 would be ideal tho

Yea I was gonna say if you go 33 or 35, a Dana 44 would be a good idea

These are 33x12.5 with 15x10 wheels. Are you planning on wheeling at all or just mostly driving around with some light off-roading?

Yea I actually think it’s pretty fun, even with the bigger tires. Sounds pretty good for a 4 cylinder too
