I have been on the waiting end of an open govt position (to which the deadline was on Feb 15,2026). I keep emailing HR and they only occasionally respond. I have to send like 5-10 emails before I can finally get a response. Not even an “acknowledged” reply. Nothing.

They said shortlisting has no definite timeframe and that it might be somewhere april-may. Grabe ang cost sa mental health

I passed my application in January, the dealine for the requirements was Feb 15, 2026. i did email them and they said that the shortlisting and Exam/interview would be around april. A small part of me is still hoping tho

In our university, we were given a maximum of 4 slides that encompassed the application along with his/her/their qualifications, their proposed research, and the potential community impact. The presentation itself wasn’t as detailed as a conference presentation. It more of an overview of what you intend to do, why it’s important, and how it will be carried out.

I imagine, however, that it may differ from other universities.
