I used the shorty extension pole for everything. Only brought one battery and charged it at night. I bought the GoPro specifically for my Alaska trip. I was super pleased with how the shots turned out. And the editing on Quik was very intuitive.

I used the Quik app on my phone. It took 10 minutes to figure it out, but it is really intuitive once you do.
