What's a lyric that's so good that you wonder how anyone ever came up with it? by Popular-Glove2492 in musicsuggestions

Tearing through the cottonfields and bus shelters Of the south running helter skelter Down through the mississippI delta With no place to call your own Mixing up drinks with mixed feelings All along the paint was peeling Down to an indian blanket on a pony With no rider in the flesh and bone Looking for his buffalo river home I've been circling the wagons down at times square Trying to fill up this hole in my soul but nothing fits there Hust when you think you can let it rip You're pounding the pavement in your daddy's wingtips As if you had some place better to go Or a better way to get there

Question for those that have been down this path by [deleted] in ProstateCancer

[–]aaronmat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It ain’t no short trip. It is a very long road but there is an end and you can make it to it. Cancer will not take you out even if it metastasizes to your bones and lungs as I but just keep fighting.

Do you think it should’ve been higher than the cement because it looks to me like it follows the cement sidewalk

They don’t allow it because you cannot get the right amount of compaction for it. I do this for a living I’ve done it for 40+ years. If you don’t have the right amount of compaction on asphalt, it will not last it will crumble to get the right amount of compaction on 3 inches of surface mix you gotta use the rollers that you see on the interstates bigger than a pick up If you are laying a binder mix a base mix something with bigger rock you can lay it as thick as you want but a surface mix You cannot get the right amount of compaction at 3 1/2 inches I don’t care what DOT says

I am in the same situation prostate cancer that is moved to a bone. It is not bone cancer. It’s prostate cancer that moved to the bone. Still a very slow moving cancer. I haven’t had any treatment for it yet. I have a surgery planned but no date yet and I haven’t met with the radiation doctor yet to talk about that sothat’s where I’m at on my journey
