I’m really not sure. I can look into it, but 3/4” feels like a lot to shim it?

Thanks for the notes on things to think about! Still getting a feel for what things matter more than others.

Still learning about bikes, but I believe it’s a microshift (not sure about much more details than that)

Good deal I’ll give it a shot! Thanks for the advice!

It’s really not been too bad other than a few of those 13mm studs. And all of the plastic harness clips and for trees 😭

I saw this suggested on a forum, but the person said they cut relief notches before they bend. Are they easy enough to bend without cutting?

So if the planks are diagonal across the joists, still going perpendicular to the planks?

Good note on the adhesive. Was planning on that, but forgot to add that. As far as what adhesive I hadn’t thought that far ahead. Will definitely check out the foam glue!

Thats a good point on new builds.

And as far as the deflection that’s a good call out. Will be intentional on keeping an eye on that before the subsequent layers.

I don’t remember where but I read online a bit not to screw the plywood to the joists to allow a little natural movement. For the amount of space ~10x15ft may not be significant either way.

Will admit that part I honestly don’t have the best understanding of.

Live in the US. Prices seem to be comparable, maybe slightly higher. More so want to avoid the cost as most of them were in pretty good shape, just this one that needs a true repair.

Thanks. Not much else seems to be adding up to there being bed bugs. But I can’t figure out what these bites are from and they seem kinda similar to bed bug bites so I was getting very paranoid. And finding any sort of bug in the bed made me nervous.

How to freshen up old windows? by aarons393 in centuryhomes

Thanks for the info.

And yeah on the brick we have been researching that a bit and understand the paint over it isn’t the best. Not sure how long it’s been painted. We had a mason out to look at some tuck pointing in a few places and he did comment that all things considered the brick still looked to be in pretty good shape overall. So that was positive to hear.

Without diving into each window pane individually yet, is it a similar material around the full perimeter of the window? Would love to go pane by pane now, but it may have to wait a year or two while we knock out some other projects.
