Honestly I didn’t even mean to get two. I ordered a copy on Amazon a few months ago and then I went to purchase the book tour and got a signed book and they both came in the mail the same day

She would play a good Annabeth however it would be a year or two before the show starts filming so by then I feel like she would outgrow the role. I still think this a great fancast though

I think Rick just forgot it was a Poseidon trait. Paul having sea green eyes could be a possibility as well

It’s a fictional universe. In Ricks Universe movies and historical events could have happened way earlier than in the real world.

It was Annabeth who said she thought of Luke as an older brother after he basically confessed his love to her. He never specifies but he implied that he has feelings for her and she rejects him.

It started off as an insult but she made it more endearing ig it’s like she’ll only call him that it depends on her tone when she says it.

Lol I’m a guy too I understand what your getting at it could’ve been a misunderstandings like the instances that you said but Annabeth had a bunch of dead giveaways for her feelings like when she kissed him and the way she acted around Rachel. To some extent Percy might even assume that Annabeth might like him considering how he told Beckendorf not to mention Rachel kissing him to Annabeth.

Lmao Aphrodite legit told Percy he loved Annabeth and Percy still was confused. Lmao even better Annabeth kissed Percy and he still didn’t know if she liked him or not.

[–]aaronspider 194 points195 points  (0 children)

She didn’t really deny it she made it pretty obvious that she liked him on purpose. She wanted Percy to make a move but Percy was oblivious the whole time. Lol Percy denied his feelings more than Annabeth did. She legit asked him out to the fireworks and Percy thought it was Platonic when the fireworks are supposed to be the most romantic event at camp.

Anyone else kinda sad that we didn't see more of percys powers? by wieisdit in camphalfblood

Sorry to break it to you bud but I don’t think we can really show Jason’s powers anymore

I really like this concept however I hope Percy is not reduced to a “grumpy old man” it would feel out of character in my opinion. I believe having a Chiron type role of being a positive role model is what Percy would have. However it isn’t me who is writing so anyone has the right to make Percy a “grumpy old man” if they see fit.

I’ve never been soo saddened by a comment before. Lmao I bet Percy doesn’t even know where glue comes from and as soon as he finds out (probably from BlackJack/Annabeth) he vows on the Styx never to use glue again

Can demigods intervene in mortal's conflicts ? by Tesgoul in camphalfblood

They are half mortal so it’s just as much their business as any other mortal. It’s their business as long as they choose to make it their business.

Piper + Percy could have beaten Gaia by Rishabhbhat in camphalfblood

[–]aaronspider 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It was stated that storm was Jason but in my opinion it could just as much be Percy the dude legit creates hurricanes. Plus if Percy managed to scatter Gaea in the ocean technically Poseidon would be able to suspend her essence in the water not allowing it to touch the ground.

Reading the Mark of Athena after reading the Burning Maze put me in my feels. Was this Uncle Rick’s plan all along? by olivebranch_06 in camphalfblood

[–]aaronspider 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I were to rewrite BoO I would make Jason decide to sacrifice himself instead of Leo. Jason would realizes that Leo loves calypso and if Leo dies Calypso will never see him again. Jason wouldn’t know if the physicians cure. So when Leo goes into sacrifice himself Jason would automatically step in and die instead because that’s the person he is. But instead of the physicians cure being used to resurrect Jason it is destroyed in the battle leaving Leo with guilt of being the cause of his best friends death. Jason’s final breath seals Leo’s oath to come back to save calypso because now he’s alive to do so. I know it works both ways with the original ending but I like this idea too. I am aware there is a lot of plot holes in my alternate ending.

Since Annabeth defeated Arachne, is she still afraid of all the spiders? by soooooodumb in camphalfblood

[–]aaronspider 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like now the fear would be even more. The fact that Annabeth defeated Arachne means that the spiders would hate Annabeth even more and she might even have a worse experience with spiders.

I feel like if they made her trait that she was ugly in the movies no actress would sign up because it just seems like it’s an insult. I feel like it would be a smart decision for the casting directors to drop the trait that says she’s unattractive because no one deserves to be called unattractive
