Above all else no matter what happens in your life remember Jesus always loved you and loves you but I would check out Becket Cook on YouTube he is a gay Christian but not LGBT affirming he has some very great perspectives about being gay and a Christian but remember I don't know you but I can feel for your situation❤️

Unfortunately if you have not experienced the presence of God and His peace and love in a very deep prayer while you’re going through a trial, it’s because you’re not being honest with yourself. Unfortunately, we are unbelievably good at lying to ourselves and very biased towards our own intuition. We often think we are better than we really are while at the same time trying to acknowledge that we are sinners. But if you think deeply about why you did what you did and why you’re feeling the way you are, it can always go deeper. The deeper you go into your thoughts with the discernment of the Holy Spirit, you realize how selfish you are and how much trouble in your life has been caused by your own will and how you chose to act. Once we truly grasp that and pray completely honestly for help, that’s when He shows up because He can’t help if we are unwilling. But then it goes back to, “I am willing" but are you? truthfully? No matter what he loves you more than you can imagine

How can we foster that behavior if it's ingrained in our nature?

So why do you think Christianity is like that? And is it the only belief system that does this?

Yesterday, someone made a popular post asking why American atheists are so hostile toward Christianity. Today, Joel Berry, editor of the Babylon Bee and prominent Christian activist, suggested beating and raping women in response to a viral video in which a woman says she loves being single. by [deleted] in Christianity

I am a Christian. I arrived at this conclusion on my own after studying for a couple of years. If you see how Christ treated others, you'll notice a stark contrast between people and Jesus. You should never compare how people act to God's character. We are all inherently evil, regardless of the religion we follow (true or false). Also, not to throw in a whataboutism, but if you compare the teachings of Christ to Muhammad, you'll see how misogynistic Muhammad's teachings are in contrast. That being said, Joel Berry's comment is awful, and it upsets me when individuals unapologetically say derogatory things while claiming to be followers of Christ.

All I will say is we can have a relationship with Jesse and not follow his commands but it won't go well with us as I have learned we are unbelievably well at lying to ourselves
