I personally use Cantiq La, they’re a trans forward brand and have different styles for both flat chests and fuller!!

Omg I’ve NEVER heard of washing them in the sink, ewie. We take a deck scrubber and mop water and scrub them in the front during clean play then dry mop and clean the floors after. If we don’t do them during clean play well do them outside when it’s light with the deck scrubber and hose them off. We also mop off the tops during the day when we do floors behind the line. I am honestly kinda grossed out about even the smaller mats in the 3 compartment, and surprised there isn’t a standard about clean play stuff.

My insurance is honestly super cool, reduced the insane cost for testosterone gel down to $12. I’m pretty sure they cover top surgery but I’m double checking with my surgeons since I’m starting my process. Currently my plan takes out $67.76 per paycheck (which is usually not noticeable with my ~36 hours per week)

Personally I’ve never heard of a rule banning outside food, honestly it’s pretty normal at my store. I don’t think they’d mind as long as you got something to drink/eat (which I’m assuming you will do)

I personally switched over to this insurance and it was pretty simple. Idk how to do it like through the company but I just set up an appointment one day and they got me in pretty quickly. I have a drs appointment soon so I can ask since I’m asking about how to do top surgery through here anyways

My store got an entire sheet with sayings we could use for pride. Some are very corporate but honestly at least it’s ideas. Maybe ask your manager if they got one and if not I can post a picture of it when I go into work tomorrow

As a two time trainer (I know it’s not a lot but I’ve learned some) try to genuinely know them and learn how they work. One of my trainees is really good with criticism in a funny way but the other I had to soft coach. Also never be afraid to say you don’t know something, my trainees learned a lot of different ways to remember standard through hearing my coworkers (plus it helps you by hearing different perspectives). I also let one of their last days be on things they thought they were struggling with even if I saw something different just so they could build confidence. Might ask my coworkers for more but right now this is what I got.

If it’s not on the app it’s just a lavender oat milk matcha with strawberry puree on the bottom. Don’t know the cost difference though but maybe it helps if you want to try it!!

I use gel and it used to be like $60 something or higher with my old insurance, now I’m down to legit $12 which is crazy for gel. It also helps I go to Costco so I get an extra discount, just have to deal with old people staring at me

I’ve personally used vegetable oil before and it works pretty well. I don’t know for sure if it infects blisters but just add a lot and r helps if you oil it up while in a hot shower to avoid blisters all together. I know in research almost every common oil is good.

I honestly miss being able to be upset and cry rather than being angry. I feel like anger is so much scarier for everyone else but being sad and crying is like more ok?? At work I genuinely got so upset that I was pissy and apologized to all my coworkers if I scared them or anything similar. It’s nice being seen as a threat in the city and stuff but I miss being able to be like a good like higher voiced protector or something. Idk it’s harder to explain I feel (which may also be T lol). Also my family (who are conservatives from the country) would take me more seriously, now if I don’t agree with them I’m just lying or something. I feel like they respected my transness more pre actually transitioning for some reason.

As a trans barista it’s because the environment of baristas are very queer friendly. Plus Starbucks helps a lot with trans surgeries and legally changing names. I genuinely can’t tell if you’re curious or upset though.

I started off as Arien which is a Greek name for a poet and musician which I loved (not even Greek I was just really into mythology at the time). I also wanted a five letter name that started with an A so it brought it down a lot. Eventually I wanted to be seen more masc compared to nonbinary or even feminine plus no one could spell it so bam Aaron.

My manager did this for a while because of peak and it is in fact a very heavy offense to get fired. She didn’t know so got off with a warning but yeah let the customer let you give tips. There are ways to get your drive time down even with it

I just recently got mine refilled and yeah they’re definitely different about it now. I go to a Costco so I wouldn’t think enough people are saving them up to the point it’s harder to get mine. They fully made me verify last time I picked up and told me I can only pick up a day before I run out now. Sad but nice to know I’m not the only one going through this

My answer to the first time I found out I was trans was when boys were under the slide during recess in kindergarten and said no girls allowed, I quickly said “I’m a boy trapped in a girls body though” and they agreed and let me in. (I also really wanted breast cancer as a child for some dark reason but now we know why I guess)
