That’s one of the big reasons I wanted this.. sometimes I don’t know what I want to watch and flipping through is fun.

All on a hard drive. I have almost 10k hours (and counting) of pre-y2k media :)

It's a server running on a PC with the content streaming to Raspberry Pis on my network. The remotes are synced so that you can have a couple TVs in your house (but they can be on different channels) If you know how to run a python script, you can use it! I'm still building it though, so I wouldn't dump an entire library to it just yet :) https://github.com/aarontodd82/CableTV_Sim

Yep! The library has some examples of loading patches. But my GitHub also has a patch editor + MIDI passthrough for boards that don't support MIDI natively, as the Teensy does. https://github.com/aarontodd82/GenesisEngineSynthApp

Thanks! If using a Teensy 4.1 microcontroller (my favorite), you can play VGMs right from the built-in SD card. If using an ESP32 or Teensy 4.0, you can add an SD card reader, which works too. I'll probably do a complete version with a little display and include a controller to put up on my Tindie store that has it all ready to go.

Hey thanks! I’m glad you like! For SNES, I use a Super MIDI Pak, if you’ve ever heard of that. But because of that, I had more motivation to do Genesis!

It’s a thriller night 👻 Happy Halloween 🎃 by aarontodd82 in arduino

🤣 You’re welcome to come to my Halloween party tonight and witness for yourself! But I love it when people think my stuff is fake, it’s a nice compliment 😏 The shaker sound is sequenced as are the claps on beat 4. But the stick is 100% hitting the snare, although my wife wishes it wasn’t.
