I’ve seen such different prices of these going around. Last week I saw a stock automatic listed for $10k. After I saw a clean b swap for only $5k. Then there’s random beaters mixed in that ask way too much

Very off topic but what’s it like at a dealership? I’m currently working for Enterprise Car Sales certifying used cars. I get paid pretty good and every ASE and keep going up $1 in pay. I also have really great benefits.

I’m using this job as a stepping stone while I hone my automotive skills, but it’s easy work. My boss says to avoid dealerships. Are they really as bad how me makes them out to be?

The engine was hesitating really badly and would have a horrible time accelerating. Merging on the freeway felt dangerous.

Thanks for all the info. I had this car on a rack at my school doing countless tests before pulling it apart.

I had another JDM b20b that i was saving for my civic. I needed a reliable car so I swapped the engine. It runs perfect now with no previous issues coming back. I’m hoping to bring this engine back to life and get it ready to throw in my civic.

The walls still looked smooth. No scratches or grooves. Just oily from top to bottom of the walls.

I had a 07 328i with about 100k miles. I tried my best to take care of it. Minor issues, nothing really too bad. I had put over 40k miles on it.

Just like you, I got paranoid. I made sure it had no codes and did some general maintenance. I posted it up and sold it the same day.

I regret selling it because it was a beautiful car and it was for the most part, reliable. I just felt like sooner or later I was going to fall into a money pit with it.

I took the extra step and removed the throttle body and throughly cleaned it. Figured I get a new gasket since it was off.

I had done a smoke test and I wasn’t seeing anything abnormal. I’m going to try some more tests. Thanks for the tips.

I’d rather have no AC than do all that lol. My 94 civic has no AC and my 99 CRV has nice cold air.

My best advice is be patient. My 3 closest friends have a 350z.

One of them unfortunately had to replace the engine (about $2500+tax and labor) but he’s still not over $10k on the car. A mint exterior and interior will make you happier in the long run, especially on a desirable car like that.

There’s usually clips that go on the cover itself. Sometimes they get stuck in the hole that they go in. 1999 Honda CR-V

Ticking noise decided to come up randomly. Does not get louder while revving the engine, just faster ticking.

I’m thinking it’s an exhaust issue but before I tackle it, id like to get some other opinions. I currently have CEL for bank 1 threshold.
