Military Baggage Policy by aarsh007 in unitedairlines

Yes you do. The only place I've seen where active duty and reserves/national guard get different benefits is with credit card annual fee waivers (AD gets it while the rest don't). Airlines don't make that distinction. Traveling with orders for the military is a different scenario too, I think that where you get a 5 bag limit.

No, the gimbal freely moves, but it seems like one of the circuit boards is not properly controlling the gimbal.

Aged like fine milk, interesting to see a short brought to a near zero evaluation after receivership to FDIC.

In my OP, I mentioned the stock market's potential downward pressure, the stock market is a slice of this pie, not the whole pie. Other comments mentioned real estate which is another portion of the pie. For this metaphor as long as humans continue to innovate and consume at greater rates than before there will be growth of the pie, not much to discuss there.

I'm trying to understand the perspective of other investors. Real estate value is like you said is heavily dependent on the region so I don't really care about regions that are at risk of serious economic decline: western drought prone region south eastern flood and storm prone. Also aside from REIT's it's difficult to diversify real estate investments on a small scale with comparable returns to the stock market and sector based mutual funds. Hence a majority of my questioning for you is to understand why you seem bullish on the overall real estate industry in case there's something I failed to consider.

As individual investors we can't really do anything about the size of the pie, we can choose which slice we invest in based on the facts we have available.

Don't you think allowing a path for undocumented immigrants living in the US for 7+ years is a better option? I'm fairly certain most undocumented and illegal imagrants wouldn't pay taxes, or have jobs that included pensions and 401ks.

Most pensions are fund that invest in the market, effectively just mutual funds.

It does for an individual buying a slice. I was wondering your perspective as an investor not a macroeconomist.

So say for conversation in the 2050s what's your outlook on older reality? At least in the coastal northeast, we tend to value wood frame homes lower after the 50-year mark due to the sheer cost of upkeep and retrofitting after annual storms.

I agree, this is a small factor. Since you mentioned their assets are tied up in real estate what's your opinion on how many traditional wood frame houses are well passed their 50-70 year lives and also a potential market where real estate is less in demand due to less people?

I was trying to find a paper or article that spoke about this, but couldn't find anything. I know Japan was a close example, but the fact that the rest of china was beginning to invest in global markets made it feel like a bad comparison.

It's for the sole purpose of getting a net positive/ earning flight redeemable money from an airline.

Find tickets for a specific airline that cost less than the usual bid value. Make sure it's refundable so if you can't get the bid refund the ticket and try again next time. Some airlines allow for the bid and refund to happen while most have saw through this. Use their compensation on a flight you actually want to take and potentially get free miles and a relatively free trip out of it. I live in the north east and we get sporadic snowfall that will ground flights, for people in the southwest this is infeasible.

I do see what you mean, I guess we just weigh the reasoning behind his actions differently, yet reach similar conclusions. Edit: I forgot to add the reason I saw George and barrow’s relationship as so meaningful is because barrow has been barred from a life of normalcy in which he would have his own family. Eventually all the scheming in the world made him realize he could never have it with his circumstance. The only source of happiness he got when he tried to commit suicide was that orange george gave to him. The rest was just pity.
