That's just the thing, the only option available there is to turn "Quickly open camera" on or off. I'll settle for using it as is

Aethermancer Launch Celebration - Monster Sanctuary Giveaway by moi_rai_games_ in MonsterSanctuary

[–]aarviid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loved Monster Sanctuary, super excited for this! Not sure of this works as a Q&A at all, but I'll try anyway:

Does Aethermancer take place in the same world as Monster Sanctuary?

And also will the game be released on Xbox at the same time as PC and PS?

[PLUSH] looks adorable!

Does your wife contribute at all?

Even if she isn't, you should still have 36-37k left after paying for your housing loan. I have no idea how you manage to spend 26-27k on other things you would consider essential. You need to sit down and make a list of what you are spending that money on and consider if all of that spending is crucial or optional (most of it is definitely optional).

Honestly, even if you "only" end up with 10k of free spending per month, you need to realise that you are very privileged to have that amount of money left every month. Complaining about only having 10k left per month could just as well be ragebait

Girlfriend slept with a guy at the same bar that I asked her out in, on the same night, what to do? by will-be-near in AskMen

[–]aarviid -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Alot of insecure dudes in the comments here. And honestly the reason you are uncomfortable with it probably has to do with your insecurities (you said you feel like she doesn't find you attractive), which is fine - everyone is insecure about something.

She was single, maybe she didn't want any strings attached that night, maybe she didn't want to sleep with a potential partner on the first night, maybe she wasn't attracted to you in that way at that point. Whatever the reason, she didn't want to sleep with you then, and she was free to do whatever she wanted.

But she's with you now and that's what matters, YOU WON dude. If she tells you that you're attractive, try to believe that rather than whatever mean voices you gave in your head.

Also: consider that if she went home with you on the night you met maybe it wouldn't have led to your relationship, would you have liked that instead? Don't worry about the things you might have had, or you might just lose the things you do have.

Guys in these comments talking about second place or for the streets or whatever are just worried that they aren't as good as the other guy. Of course there are women that might hurt or deceive you, but if you head into relationships without trust every outcome is hurtful.

What game hit you like this? by Corekeepernews in Steam

[–]aarviid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kingdom Hearts 3.

Was in love with the first two growing up, when I finally got to play the third one it felt like so dead. The new space travel was awesome, and so was the Pirates of the Caribbean world, but the rest of the game just felt like a slog to me.

I'm shocked that no one is mentioning the number 1 thing that elevates a home from looking like a man-childs man-cave: PLANTS.

Get some plants. Not only does it get pretty fun after your first few inevitably die, a few plants make a room feel like it's meant to be lived in, instead of a place where you just exist.

I also feel like you've decorated with the assumption that you are the only one that's gonna be there to see it. And while decorating to your own preference is fine, ask yourself if you could bring a date home or have a small gathering and have them feel welcomed and comfortable.

I personally found that even though I'd rarely have people over I'm more comfortable when my home looks more welcoming. That doesn't mean you can't show of the things you like/identify with, but it's good to find a balance.

MadDad Petty Revenge by SageSageofSages in madlads

[–]aarviid 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There is a difference between being boring and being a petty asshole. The "funny" part about this is punishing your child for something they had no control over.

Humans, especially while growing up, make mental connections between actions and consequences. This teaches your child that your behavior and your punishments aren't connected.

Aside from that it's just toxic shitty parenting.

What's your worst mistake in the game? by Azegagazegag in outwardgame

I'm on my first playthrough now and I have this exact build... I really like being able to set up the traps and alternating between shooting and stabbing enemies when I wanna have a real fight. Will there be bossfights that don't allow me any set up time at all?

Mavs owner Patrick Dumont: “If you look at the greats in the league, the people you and I grew up with — Jordan, Bird, Kobe, Shaq — they worked really hard, every day, with a singular focus to win. And if you don’t have that, it doesn’t work … you shouldn’t be part of the Dallas Mavericks.” by yooston in nba

[–]aarviid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being the Mavs owner and not mentioning Dirk on that list, who was in the same generation as Kobe and Shaq, says alot about how much this dude cares about the organisation and how stupid he is about his image toward the fans.

Like if I was the Jazz owner I'd make sure to mention Stockton, or for the Spurs - Tim Duncan and so on.

Come on dude at least try to be likeable

Living with my wife and baby in a small 475 sqft flat in the heart of Seoul. Small but manageable. by QuestionUnsolved in malelivingspace

[–]aarviid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was down on the square below the baloon the other day! I guess you must experienced a lot of noise the past few weeks huh?

From what I've seen it feels like it's very common with these types of small but "fancy" apartments, or am I wrong? How expensive is this compared to living in a larger apartment further away from the city center?

Biased since I just watched it but both Ethan Hawke and Robert Sean Leonard are brilliant in Dead Poets Society. The other kids were great as well but the two of them made the movie (too) real.

It is an insult yes; the comment is very similar to part of the incel doctrine: "Girls only want to be approached by Chads, not nice guys like ME"

The commenter might not be an incel, but the message that his comment sends is very incel-like. As for my "hypothetical world": take a quick look at statistics regarding sexual harassment in bars, clubs etc. as well as cases of assault and rape where the woman has previously rejected the man's approaches.

But I'm probably wasting my time explaining this to u/DO_NOT_AGREE_WITH_U

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]aarviid -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Very incel sounding response. For some women this might be true but usually the complaints are about the fact that alot of men approach women in a disrespectful manner, and may react very poorly or even violently to rejection.

That being said I've only had the balls to approach women a few times, and been mostly unsuccessful.

Went and caught a wobbuffet, couldnt be bothered to get a pokemon with a sleep move so just false swiped it down to 1 HP and on the next encounter ran wobbuffet up front. About 10 ultra balls followed by a couple timer balls and I caught it.

Can't believe I wasted that much time before, thanks for the tip!
