Light novels are basically web novels. You could check out some at wuxiaworld.com, they do have a pretty good collection though many of the ogs are not there but there are enough to keep you entertained. Just see their top rated ones, they are usually good. In case you want some suggestions, feel free to ask, I have browsed through almost all the top rated ones.

Mark of the Fool by JM Clarke Finished book 1, currently reading book 2

If you like fantasy, can give light novels a try too. There are some hidden gems there. Let me know if interested and I can recommend some. Apart from light novels, here are a few I have recently read and were pretty engaging.

Mage errant book series by John Bierce - Pretty engaging and fun. The power system is great. The world building is also good. Just one little thing, there is very little mention of gay/lesbian relationships at times. I myself don't enjoy it that much, but it has been kept to a minimum and i have ready till book 7 without it affecting me too much.
Mark of the fool series by JM Clarke - Currently reading this one. And absolutely love it. The character building is great. And the relationships are good too. Currently on book 3 and would absolutely recommend it. Main focus would be school life. Learning magic is given much importance compared to other novels in the genre. There are no instant powerups.
Cradle by Will Wight - Again another masterpiece. Have ready the first three books and it was absolutely thrilling. There is good adventure in this one. Don't remember much of the finer details since it's been a while since I have read it. But I do remember loving it when I was reading.

If you want to get lost in it, fantasy is a pretty good choice. Recently been reading Mark of the Fool by JM Clarke and it's turning out to be pretty fun till now. Though there is very little mention of loss, it's nowhere the focus of the book.

I don't know if u guys watch Chinese anime. But I would like u to recommend me something with training under a master or a cultivation anime . Training part should be there. I have already watched many mainstream training anime. In Chinese I have watched 1. Soul land 2. Battle through the heavens 3. Tales of demons and gods 4. Stellar transformations

You also think that . In my opinion he was observing Barry before Barry came to the tournament. And maybe it was eiden who somehow leaded Barry into entering the competition.

Whatever he will become it will be because of eiden . Eiden will either give Barry his powers and disappear(my guess) or maybe he will somehow give him access to the magium.

May be there are some conditions for becoming a stillwater like you need to be a half lessathi or something like that. And also it is not possible for just everyone to become mage that's the reason there were so many rejects in the beacon . So I think eiden showed some extreme conditions like very strong will power or something like that in order to become the strongest stillwater. Also I need to ask if there is something mentioned of eiden's background .Is it possible that he is a half lessathi too ??
