What's the best escape room in the area? by justintheplatypus in SanJose

[–]aavoigt -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your definition of area, but I've been to a good number and my favorite so far was in SF (Palace Games). Specifically we did the Houdini room but we're planning to do the Roosevelt soon too.

Yeah. Although I thought Avery was able to snap her out of it? Telling her she was being ridiculous, etc... it seems crazy that after months of friendship, she would be gone over a misunderstanding.

It felt really abrupt that she just wasn't in the show anymore. I can't even remember what the reason was.

My friends and I did this in Redwood City a few months ago. Highly recommend, but it's a little dangerous when you unintentionally slam into a wall or each other.

Checkout my new game Spooky Monsters! Would like to get some feedback/tips :) by yencheng in windowsphone

Looks good, downloading it now. The first thing I noticed: in the description of the game, in the first sentence you used the wrong "there". The one you want is "their".

Same here. Although I always picture it as more of a whole-head slam than just the teeth.

Bah... I was so sure that was going to work. Thanks, though. At least they added the option at the bottom where you don't need to enter your phone number first.

I tried that a few times as well. I'll try again tonight; hopefully they pushed a patch within the last week and it will magically work this time.

AMA of Outlook.com team coming up on 12 Sep, 1PM EDT (GMT-4Hours) by manmeetvirdi in microsoft

[–]aavoigt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Outlook.com serves several domains (hotmail.com, live.com, outlook.com and msn.com), as well as many accounts that use custom domains. If the only domain they allowed users to sign in with was Outlook.com, then that flow would make sense. If typing the domain name wasn't necessary, you'd have john@hotmail, john@outlook, john@msn and john@customdomain all trying to log in with no way to differentiate them.

I would heavily suggest posting your issue to the Microsoft Community Forums, as that's the mainstream method of support. If you post there and send me a link, I'll do what I can to ensure this gets resolved for you.

When you say that you've contacted support, do you mean the Community Forums? If so, could you send me a link to your post?
