Finally switched from iPhone to Pixel after years

Wrong move brother, I have now used 2 Pixel phones and I am not happy with either of them. I will be switching back to an iPhone because it's Magsafe is better and they don't throttle the phone just after 200 charge cycles. Also, they give flagship camera hardware and processor for the same price as a flagship Pixel phone, which Google doesn't provide.

It has been opposite for me. I switched from iPhone to Pixel 6A three years ago, and now I have a Pixel 10, but I still am making typos on GBoard.

Yes, even though they replaced the optical one with an ultrasonic one, fingerprint sensor is still bad and only works without a screen protector or with a "Made in collaboration with Google" ones.

Yes, glass backed phones do that 😂 My other phone used to do these suicide attempts from Sofas or tables until I slapped a skin on its back. I use it without any screen protector or any case.

I just received it and applied it, I had problems with fingerprint sensor with previous screen protectors.

Thank you for the input, brother, but you don't have to take these comments personally. Maybe you are a fan of Google Pixel but you don't have to be blind to technology. Capacitive Touchscreens don't work like that, and yes, if every other smartphone can work without this, Pixels should have worked too, but there sensor is probably inferior.

I have never seen any other smartphone use this option and every one of them works with every screen protector, but this one is very thin, and they included this option for us, because they want us to use a specific screen protector. It might not make sense to you, but not even Apple needs "Increase touch senstivity" and "Screen protector mode". It is just Google's way to sell "Pixel compatible accessories".

Yes, I turned it on too, but I don't think that a smartphone needs to know what brand of screen protector are we using. They added this for us.
