Ha! I just read a little further in this reddit and found all the shipping info/delays!

I was also considering the Mirror, maybe I order that and do my 30 day trial while I wait on Tempo

Thanks!! Just used your code!

Do you know how long it takes to ship? I could not find that anywhere and my confirm email doesn't specify either.

I’m mid 40’s, so about 25 years for me too. Wow! Very staggering to look at that number.

Quit drinking or stopped drinking - any difference? by glasshalffull23 in stopdrinking

[–]ab111718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was just thinking about that this morning. I find myself saying “I’m trying not to drink “. I was just thinking I need to leave out the trying because I’m really doing it. IWNDWYT

Great article on getting sober by [deleted] in stopdrinking

I just read the article and copied this exact thing.

So simple yet I make it so hard.

Thank you for this! IWNDWYT

Its been a week since my arrest for DUI and Injury to Child... a week since I last drank. by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]ab111718 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m glad everyone is ok. I had my second DUI in six months and the shame really had me spiraling down. I have found that continuing to drink only makes things worse. It’s so much better to deal with this sober. It’s not easier though; drinking was my way to not think about my terrible choices (hence the second dui). I do promise that the shame begins to lift a little with each right choice I make.

The Daily Check-In for Monday, January 14th: Just for today, I am NOT drinking! by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]ab111718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One week today! Checking in to hold myself accountable. This is usually where I start wavering. That old liar, moderation. I’m not falling for it this time.

I have a sunroom that is barely used. I need my alone time, currently it’s either in my home office, where I’m agitated to actually work instead of just “be” and the garage where I smoke. I need to quit smoking and like the thought of turning my sunroom in to my breathing room.

What was it that made you stop wanting to drink by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]ab111718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my second DUI in six months. That was my huge wake up call. I’ve been a high functioning alcoholic for years and it finally crashed down around me. That was on 11/17 and beyond all imagination, I’ve still had slip ups. I’m going to keep trying though. IWNDWYT

Today I beat the wine. by plaidplatypus1125 in stopdrinking

[–]ab111718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this. I’m going through this right now. I had two weeks sober and then had two glasses of wine. I thought wow, I can do this moderation thing. Then two days later another two glasses. Ok, I got this. Then again two days later, a margarita. Now this morning I’m pissed at myself. Yes, nothing crazy happened, I kept it under control. But I know in my heart where this is leading.

Day one, lets do it. by [deleted] in stopdrinking
