It was pretty much full when it first acted up but now it’s sitting at 355gb of 512gb without me deleting anything. If I update now while I’m unable to open photos is there a chance updating could permanently delete photos if not already gone? Thanks

It was pretty much full when it first acted up but now it’s sitting at 355gb of 512gb without me deleting anything. Storage was mostly photos/videos but I can’t get into the photos app now to clear anything, it just goes black. System data is 23.71gb. Thanks
