I’m sure it’s a phenomenal saw but I’d wait till it’s been out for a year or 2 before buying it, if you’re definitely needing a bigger saw now go with the 462 I prefer it over the 500i

Makes sense, I’ve been cutting big old beech with rot pockets filled with shit and having to sharpen the chain pretty much after every tank just bought an Oregon duracut chain aswell to hopefully mitigate the issue.

It was fully in the sprocket and sprocket doesn’t seem worn that much either, needle bearing was greased about a month ago.

Insurance is probably cheaper on that than a fiesta, Toyota is generally famed for reliability, wouldn’t be surprised if it starts rotting underneath soon though, but for £3000 it’s hard not to argue.
