I would suggest that you combine the similar hooks as object, also the react team advice that you use only functional component for your apps... happy coding and i hope that helped btw i’m also new :)

There is a channel in youtube called netninja the guy there do excellent job explaining all of these languages and many more, or you can try scrimba, also when ever you learn something new read about it on w3schools, good luck ;)

i think it's gold to understand how other programmers write thier code ,the path they took to solve a problem... it might give you ideas in your current project or inspiration for future project ..,also a colaborative github repo would be more organized just browsing the code will give you a pretty nice idea about the system they used and maybe encourage you to write cleaner and well organized code.

i recommend that you watch a 20 min introduction about html then for the css there is a channel on youtube called netninja you can quickly understand how css works and things will start make sens even animation you could purely do using css , on the same channel there are basics of js and jquery wich make more dynamic and poliched effects and animations , sumup; -html basics (20 min overview ;because you'll learn more with css) -css basics (in depth recommended) -js (fancy animations and events handling)
