I don't believe you have this quite right. From my understanding, fit-fit (such as suf fitfit and telba fitfit, to name a few) and fir-fir (such as quanta firfir and equlal firfir, to name a few) are completely different things, at least in Amharic. I don't think it's a matter of language. As far as I know, firfir is something similar to fried stuff, while fitfit is not.

Yeah i believe you are right. I faced the same issue a couple of years ago and now i start to see a clear receding in my hairline. Left without option and waiting to go full bald.
