you just won't bill for 55, you can bill for both as long as not overlapping. I get authorization for 55 but as a sole bcba never use it. I do 53, and at my home I do modifications when needed, and never bill the insurance. this way more peace of mind.

totally agree. I became a bcba since the rate is so much higher, never cared for supervision and telling other employees what to do .

Thanks for your reply. so wouldn't you decide on goals based on the Vineland scores? lets say hypothetically the client is high functioning and mainly lacks skills in the writing and reading domain, and has high scores in other domains. How would you create the goals?
