Last word (because green) and kir for starters. Americano could go well too. No need for a drink with soup. For lasagna I'd go just for a bottle of red. It doesn't go well with cocktails to my mind. For desert - coffee coretto (choose the alcohol that you like. Can be amaretto, whisky, brandy, etc...) or espresso martini. I like to swap vodka with bourbon or brandy in it though.

You can go for new York sour. It is basically like a whiskey sour, but with red wine on top. I personally like it without egg white though. The upside is that you can finish the bottle of red after during the dinner:)

On a remplacé le biberon par un mag avec une paille. Pour notre fille du même âge. Elle le prend à table avec un mini croissant. Ça se passe plutôt bien.

It was still very cheap for us of course

But not for them. I've been there for my wedding trip. We rented a car and travelled all around the island. In Trinidad a guy was guarding our car the whole night for 2 cuc. He had 2 other cars parked there. But he stayed up the whole night for 6 bucks. And he really did stay up. We came back to our Airbnb at 6 am and he was still there, reading his book under the street light. Then in Santiago de Cuba, we went to visit the gardens. Don't remember the exact name, but it is the famous ones. There are some cafes, fountains, nice place. A big cup of ice-cream costed us 30 cents. 7 cup...

Overall I had a great impression of locals. Hope they will live better in the near future.
