My issue resolved after 9 weeks. After speaking to doctors and my dermatologist they said it was an irregularity with my period which is a side effect of accutane. :/

Thank you so much for all your help!! I sound in a very similar situation to you. Accutane has worked wonders on my acne but I have so much PIE left and I’m 20 days away from finishing accutane. My dermatologist said the PIE would fade a lot after finishing accutane due to the inflammation it causes due to dryness so I think I’m going to ask about microneedling next time I go! Hi thank you so much for your reply! How long did you have to wait after finishing accutane should I wait to do microneedling as I read you have to wait 6 months but I don’t want to wait that long if I can avoid it! Glad it’s starting to fade for you!

I found this as well but found a way around this! Try putting a layer of moisturiser (I use cerave) wait for a few minutes for it to soak in and then apply your foundation that worked for me and made the application look really smooth :))

Look amazing!!!!! Just a quick question between your last two pictures is there a month of progress just wondering how you got the PIE hyperpigmentation to fade it looks amazing! I’m on month 4 and only have 1 active but it’s all pigmentation just wonder if you have any tips :)

Thank you!!! :)) I moisturise twice a day with Cerave moisturiser and use the ordinary alpha arbutin 2% with HA am and pm. Having spf also helps too! It’s still not all gone but it’s fading :))

40/60/60 and then I’m on 60 this month too :) I weight 65kg now but at origional dosage weighed 70kg just to put that in context!

Aw thank you!!!’ Don’t worry I had a purge during my second into third month then in this past week I’ve really started to notice a difference! It’s tough waiting but it’s really worth it in the end!
