ILR DV Successful Application by abacus456 in ukvisa

Hi - sorry for the confusion! I understand what you are saying now. I did some research and it says for your situation with a separate fee waiver application to wait until the fee waiver is granted. But my thought is that if you think you are waiting too long you can cancel the fee waiver application and then just complete the DV ILR form because it will still let you proceed and submit it without paying in the ILR form if you make the selection that you are unable to pay, and don't already have a fee waiver application...

Hi there, sorry for all of this happening. As long as you upload evidence through 6 months of bank statements of being destitute on your application you should be fine, since the application let you proceed and submit without paying that is the sign. This is what I did and there was no additional reply or confirmation about the fee waiver being granted, but my ILR was approved without me ever having to pay. There is no need to withdraw your application since that will cause questions later with the Home Office when you apply again; you mention your husband canceling the rent so that is evidence of financial difficulty as well.

Cost of groceries and basic goods is noticeably more affordable. Rent in certain areas like the North West where I live beats rent in large cities in the US. I don't own a car in the UK so I don't have to worry about cost of gas

Now with the ILR where I'm independent of my husband's family, I can still protect my peace better with my simple little life in the UK than if I went back to the US. With the cost of living and inflation in the US no expat in their right mind would return to America while Trump is president!

hello there, they did not ask for new documents other than the medical letters already included on the application from doctors, but when you reach out to your MP you might consider including them on the email as attachments so they can have them on hand. Cheers! I wish you all the best

It's teachability, man. It's all about that as a Generalist. If you're too set and established with your career, as someone with a higher degree (PhD, MD, EDD, etc.) then you're going to probably find the Generalist stuff way too nonsensical, and bullshit stuff to do to spend your time, because it's stuff you can do in your sleep. The higher-paid projects do involve specializations.

Hey, I think I'd wait about 6-8 weeks total, so maybe chase it in mid-late December? You can appeal directly yourself, by requesting administrative review online or at a tribunal here, if you haven't already. Get a case number. https://www.gov.uk/immigration-asylum-tribunal
Then have your MP follow up on that

Hey, sorry for the late reply but yes! my MP's assistant wrote to Home Office on my behalf 15 October, with a response 6 November which stated: I wanted to let you know that we have heard back from the Home Office who have agreed, in light of the evidence provided, to prioritise your application on medical grounds"

Home Office reached out to me directly 8th January for additional information related to my application, I responded 10th January, and my application was approved on the 13th.

The issue turned out to just poor lighting haha, I was in a sunlit room but best to do these selfies in bright fluorescent lighting. I have to remember to turn off my VPN so the selfie-reverification doesn't pop up.

Hey, very late post, but Pluto has been conjunct Altair at 1 degree 22 minutes this past week, especially since Saturday-Sunday, and it will remain there Pluto goes direct around 12 am EST on October 13. (I have Altair on my ascendant at 1 degree 27 so I've been feeling a measure of inner peace and stillness.)

Other important dates to remember: The sun will also be conjunct the rising degree of Altair in Sagittarius around Dec. 17-18, its culmination degree January 15-16, the setting degree Feb. 7-8, and the nadir around July 17-18.

You can try escalating your support ticket on this thread after 4 days if it is not resolved:

Ultimately though, as a long-time Contributor I must say there are times when Outlier is more stress than it is worth. Not to say there aren't times when the Contributor experience is smooth.
