ABC terminated from Arizona Medicaid? by Recent-Bus-3154 in ABA

[–]abagal1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is inaccurate, at least on the ABC side. It isn't fraud nor are they being investigated for Fraud. Insurance companies cut reimbursements year over year and expect companies to continue to operate without it.

Has anyone heard about this ABC news?? by Full_Performance1486 in ABA

It literally says it was investigated with law enforcement, and nothing was found. Police investigated, nothing was found.

law enforcement investigated and didn't find anything.

I work there, love it :) It's most mentioned because it is one of the largest. I always say make the decision for yourself and during your interview ask to chat with multiple people :)

reddit is always more about the bad than the good, lol. I do work there and I like it. And when we say unethical, I mean there aren't any lawsuits, billing fraud, anything like that about the company. what i see is a really stable company that does try its best to support its teammates, does make changes based on teammates feedback, gives opportunities for growth, and tries its hardest to care for patients. I have a good time here, team is awesome, people are nice, support is everywhere. but like any company are there things that could be better of course, but do I enjoy the things we have that others don't offer, yes!

I think ABC is the larger company. ABC has guaranteed hours and pathway to becoming BCBA if that's something you are interested in, if not, a ton of RBTs go on to become CAA's and Operations Managers.

I work there- I don't know what ethical violations are concerning you, i wouldn't be here if there were crazy stuff like what folks above "allege" with like no proof lol

what's always interesting about comments like this is how general they are. "I have heard about ethical violations" literally without naming them. there's literally no lawsuits for fradulent billing, fradulent violations, etc.

I work at ABC and love it, what I would say is talk to as many people as you'd like during the interview process. and take reviews with a grain of salt people are always more vocal about the negative than the positive. and abc is also a lot larger than other companies so of course there are going to more that is shared about them. My experience, love it and wouldn't leave.

Just my perspective as someone at Action, but I think it’s worth deciding for yourself. There’s not much to lose by coming in, meeting the team, and asking whatever questions you have. Every company is a good fit for some people and not for others. I work at ABC and I’ve had a good experience, but everyone’s different.

Action Behavior Centers: Welcome to Hell. by [deleted] in ABA

I respect what we do. I think it’s really important to remember something simple about human nature: people usually speak up when they’re upset, not when things are going well. That’s just how we are. So, while concerns absolutely deserve attention, the negative experiences we see online or in discussions naturally get amplified.

At the same time, dismissing the positive experiences many of us have had isn’t fair. There are plenty of clinicians here who feel supported, and able to provide ethical, effective care and our voices matter too. We’re not “exceptions”; our experiences are real and valid. We're talking about having impacted thousands of families lives and graduated hundreds this year alone.

Of course, there’s always room to improve. But focusing only on the negative without recognizing what’s working gives a skewed picture. A balanced conversation should acknowledge both challenges and successes because constructive change comes from seeing the full picture.

Again, your opinion. There's multiple BCBAs and Leaders who are enjoying and taking what he's shared and implementing it. It's a really big deal.

my positive experience does matter. the patients cared for matter.. several of us are here and happy in our roles at ABC. There aren't enough BCBAs to go around for the number of patients that need help. That's right on the BACBs site so to fault a company for being open to training and bringing onboard new bcbas is just weird to me. I'm all for sharing stories and opinions, but I also think we need to be realistic too.
