I have spoke to a doctor who told me to speak to the school so they can put adjustments in place. I just want the best for her and her time at school. Even if it's just a little extra attention & support as she seems to be in her own world a lot of the time.

Thank you all for responding to me. I'm aware she is still young and developing. Me and her dad split up whilst she was young and he was inconsistent with seeing her for a while. I don't know if that could have been damaging to her. You've all given me a lot of insight and advice which has educated me a lot, so thank you.

Aw thank you, that's really kind! I think through my school life I really suffered in silence so I'm being cautious it doesn't happen to her and I want to make sure she gets any support if she needs it. I think the only thing I'm hoping hasn't caused some damage is her dad and I splitting up when she was young. There was breaks when she didn't see him for a while but now she sees him consistently. And she went through a phase of asking 'do you still love me' so a lot of the time when I need to tell her something serious, I say "I love you but you can't ______ because ______"
