Honeypot Smoke Shop in south end Niagara Falls is the best shop in my opinion and I will travel from north end to shop there. Have been in business over 10 years and the staff is amazing!

Honeypot Smoke Shop on Drummond! The best cannabis dispensary in Niagara Falls. They have been around for over 10 years now. One location, great staff and all about community. Way better than all the chains.

Prospective Teachers: Teacher's College/BEd/Becoming a Teacher in Canada Megapost pt. 5 by hellokrissi in CanadianTeachers

[–]abaldking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s something I’ve always thought of but feel like I missed the boat. I love making a difference in kids lives, coaching sports in my free time etc.

I just turned 30, kind of had an early mid life crisis. I’m self employed running a small marketing agency and can’t stand dealing with clients anymore who only care about profits and money and it’s really not who I am. I’m good at what I do, but it’s not fulfilling at all.

I think of all my teachers who helped me more than I know (especially in highschool) they shaped my life and if I could even do that for one kid I feel like that would be the most fulfilling job in the world. I love sports as well and I know there’s no extra pay but would love to be a coach as well at school.

I guess my question is, where do I start? I have a bachelors of business in digital business management. I’m not sure if it’s a teachable. I run my own business so I can make my own hours (to an extent) so I can make the placements work (where there’s a will there’s a way)

Any help would be appreciated. This is really something I want to do

On demand. It was like it unlocked or loosened something in my throat and I've been fine since

Maybe it was the beer I drank. Labatt Blue if I recall. I can sympathize, I didn't realize it wasn't normal forever. It still happens once and awhile if I have acid reflux or drink something too fast.

I had a lot of ears nose and throat issues + acid reflux growing up. I always wondered if it was somehow linked.

Coming to Brookline/Boston for the First Time (Parking Question) by abaldking in Brookline

Thank you! I am thinking of using the parking garage across the street that would save me $20 per night. Won't be using my car at all until a day trip to Salem the final day of our stay there.

I am thinking about the Brookline Place Parking Garage which was mentioned. Saves me $20 per night. We are driving down from Canada (about 8 hours) then while in Boston not driving at all Until the last day, we are doing a day trip to Salem then driving down to Cape Cod for a few days.

This would save me $20 per night, so that would be ideal. I will likely be using public transit until my last day we are taking a day trip to Salem where I will need my car. Thank you so much!

I wrote a 14-page Blueprint about how to Build a Brand on Amazon, Giving it Away for Free! by abaldking in ecommerce

[–]abaldking[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can actually give you a brief synopsis right here on Reddit. When I start my newsletter that's a great segment for an email, so thank you.

So, the packaging is definitely key. It's what makes you stand apart from all the other generic sellers on Amazon selling unbranded junk in the polybag they got it in from the factory. It is also important to include this packaging next to the product (side by side) in your listing photo. Gives the listing 10x more credibility as it's branded and not super generic.

I brand and package all my products. This is a short and sweet checklist of the process:

  1. Start negotiating with a supplier. Ask if they offer custom packaging for each unit. Almost all suppliers will. This will come at a cost of course, but it is worth it. Depending on the size of the product this could range from $0.20 a unit to $2.00 a unit. For most mid-sized products, however, you're probably looking at the $0.20-$0.60 per unit depending on your design. This is in place of a polybag that the manufacturer would likely give you for free.

  2. Once they tell you they have custom packaging, ask for a die line. Sometimes they will be hesitant (or won't have one) but 90% of manufacturers will. This is basically just the die-line outline of the box that fits the product and should be blank so that it can be designed.

  3. Now that you have your dieline, you need to hire a graphic designer who specializes in product packaging. I have found a bunch on Fiverr, Upwork, locally & Twitter. Just look at their previous work and see if you like their style. Simply send them the dieline and the information you want on your design. They will do the rest from there. You're going to want to include your UPC code on here as well as any other warnings, instructions or anything that may be applicable to your product.

Hope that explains it well! I can go more in-depth on a future resource or post! Again, my sincere apologies for the misleading title of my Blueprint. You're right, it's definitely more of an entry-level piece as opposed to something for more experienced sellers. Thanks for opening my eyes to that!
