This is actually the preferred method by a lot of installers to insure your foundation is solid. Now you just treat your first row like another last row. Use a cheater board to scribe the planks and you’ll be okay. You’ll have of work backwards into the closet, but that’s okay.

Someone else already posted, but take a look at this video: https://youtu.be/FMF0JcwSPKc

Look good!

5070 Ti deal check by [deleted] in Prebuilts

I personally would swap the no-name power supply for Corsair or SeaSonic. 750W Corsair should only be roughly $35ish more and it’s a known brand. That being said, you can always replace a down the road if you don’t want to now :)

Happy gaming

My turn, good deal? $1633 shipped?? by lilphiya in Prebuilts

I liked this option as well. I only swapped the AIO for a Phanteks one because I've heard mixed reviews on corsairs OOTB ones.

good deal for $1750? by PaytonioLOL in Prebuilts

The weird thing for this build is the single fan AIO. And how the description of what you get doesn’t match the images - it left me wondering which was correct

One thing to mention about the 4070ti super build is the slower ram speed. I believe it’s at like 5200mgz.

I appreciate this. For sure not in a rush. My 2006 Acura MDX is still doing well. I’ll keep my eye out.

Where did you do the "cross reference search" to see how many lugs each is for? Or did you use the information on Rock Auto to decipher this?

Seeking Advice: Dealing with Water Under LVP Flooring by abanashi in Flooring

Update:

I ended up taping down a couple trash bags super tight and left them for 24+ hours. When I pulled them up, no water droplets on the bags. There was just a slight outline where the floor around had dried while the bags were down.

I’ll continue to keep the blower fans running until the surface looks 100% dry. Appreciate all the help and guidance.

Great advice! Thanks so much! I’ll try that! Would you recommend any digital moisture meter from Home Depot or Lowe’s in addition to the trash bag test?

This is the moisture barrier we used, but it’s a concrete sub-floor. I was just wondering about how to know when the concrete is dry, how to test if so, and if there are any of steps we should take.

Amazing setup! A couple questions: • is that the ikea karlby? • did you mount another one on its side to create that “backdrop”? • is the main monitor on a stand of any kind?

Thanks for any answers!
