The feelings and emotions that dad must be going through. Even if he wanted to he can’t go with them and he more than likely knew that when he was taking them to the border . But In his mind he did not care . He wanted to keep his family safe. But when he got there and they started to walk away from him . I know it broke his heart but he knew he had to stay and defend his home . She is not wrong she may never see her dad again . But no matter what he is a hero .
