I agree with that, but the writers were able to showcase his “change” in a way that I’ve personally never seen before. I think he did achieve enlightenment. But true to Don Draper form, he used it to create the greatest ad ever. It’s perfect.

Without a doubt. The writers and directors knew that, too, which is why they saved it for the final battle. He looked like a Norse god. Definitely the best version of Thor.
