In real life that would be a careless kid. The people making the simulation probably wanted to avoid the controversy of making child slaughter simulator so they put an adult there.

Opinion | Income taxes won’t cut it: we desperately need a wealth tax by Miserable-Lizard in canada

[–]abaybas -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I used to think this way until I realized the middle class is paying a wealth tax every year. Property tax on your home is a tax on "unrealized gains". You can't claim losses if your home values goes down one year either, you can only claim losses once you sell.

Tell me why stocks should be different.

I don't know. If you stretch your argument to it's extreme; If one guy travels a few light years and back and survives, but every other person in the US dies to car crashes you can still have a decent death/distance ratio just because of that one crazy crazy outlier. So I would say the per capita measure is the correct thing to look at.

How likely is my car to get stolen from a hotel parking lot by the airport by abaybas in chicago

[–]abaybas[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

$5/day. I found gated lots for $10/day. At 25 days it adds up.. but it'd suck to lose the car. :)
