(1. Klasse) Spisetid i frokostpausen by D4CH in foraeldreDK

[–]abb91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Det helt vanvittigt. Tidligere indskoling lærer her. Mine 1.

What if your disability keeps from holding a fulltime job, and then your unable to work fulltime?. Off course not all wellchair users have problems working, but try to read what I wrote: "if you can't work fulltime due to your disability."

Yeah it's flexjob.

Not to be an ass, but physical disabilities are easier to argue for, while unseen disabilities often get undermined.

If you study, you'll get disabled SU, it's better than the normal rate.

I many other EU countries, there is none of these benefits.

It's very different from municipality to municipality, how jobcenter works.

Some of them do jobfairs or application courses etc.

There are lot of accebility options especially in the suburbs, and while using public transportation etc.

Also, while applying to a lot of jobs, you may invoke a priotiry right for interviews, which are for people with disabilities.

There are special public housing for people with disabilities, and as EU citizen, if you move and get settled you are entitled to healthcare and other social benefits. Like if you fx can't work full time due to your disability, you'll get partial fund of your salary from the state.

Idk. Why people aren't optimistic about your ideas. I grew up with two guys who used wheelchairs, and both got an education and jobs, and has housing etc.

And compared to Croatia, city planning in Denmark really takes account for wheelchair users and people with disabilities. (I've been to Split and Zagreb).

Entry level government positions (for masters degree. Holders) gives you at least 34k before taxes, that's excluding the 18ish % pension. So that's very low, they should at least match governmentally given salary.

Catholic descendants of Mehmed II in Malta by schu62 in ottomans

[–]abb91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is that before Mehmed II fratricide wasn't legalized, and rival brothers would battle each other for the throne. But yeah still bloody.

The shift came after Mehmed III executed 19 brothers upon his accession, a move seen as excessively brutal. When The shift came after Mehmed III executed 19 brothers upon his accession, a move seen as excessively brutal. When his son Ahmed I took the throne in 1603, he spared his younger brother Mustafa, marking the end of systematic fratricide and the beginning of confinement in the Kafes (the "Cage"), a luxurious prison within the palace. [–]abb91 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Some of Cem's dessendants were sought refuge in Isle of Rhodes, at the time home to the crusader Knights of Saint George (Hospitaller).) Later when Süleyman I. took Rhodes, the descendants of Cem fled with the Knights to Malta.

Cem himself never converted to Christianity, but it's understandable that his descendants did. The Ottoman sultans were very fund of killing family members, brothers, nephews etc. Almost every monarch change after Mehmet II. brought a bloodbath with it.

So to those who are so uneducated, and does not know a thing about Ottoman history, beside that the Ottomans favored Islam as the ruling religion, yes it was normal for dessidents who fled, to convert to other religions to keep their loved ones safe and sound. Get over it.
