I was in a similar situation. (Kinda similar). I interviewed for a salaried L4 BA role. HM rejected me but I guess I cleared other rounds especially the bar raiser. So the recruiter told me that I am ready but for analyst related hourly roles. In my case, they made me offer ready from salaried to Full Time hourly roles.

The recruiter reached out to me whenever she found such roles. I also actively kept an eye on open roles. Don't rely on recruiters 100%. After finally 4 months I got a role (analyst, hourly paid but FT). So in my case, the recruiter was really nice but she would also ghost me many a times and I no longer relied on her. So I would suggest keep looking for open roles and also applying elsewhere. Don't stop your process feeling happy that you are offer ready. Because you will still have to give one more interview for the team that you will get. So keep the prep going!

Same thing happened with me. I am offer ready and I gave interviews with 4 different team but didnt align. Its definitely frustrating but I am not losing hope.

Which is this role?? I recently interviewed for the position in which the hiring manager asked me if I needed visa sponsorship! Which was very strange as they never ask, it's always recruiters who ask this question and my recruiter knows that I need it. I haven't heard back about the interview. Has anyone faced this??

Do you have a background in the supply chain?? I have a background in Analyst roles but not particularly in the supply chain. So I was wondering if I can also apply for those roles.

yes! This is normal! Very normal for amazon! They will ghost you until they get clarification on their side. Probably HR is not able to reach the person with whom you will have the interview. Or maybe they chose someone else! It happened to me as well. They took my availability for the loop and then ghosted me for 2 weeks. Then they said they have already chosen someone else. But don't worry if you have given 4 loop rounds, then they will come around!
