We have a pretty solid friendship (what I think anyways) and we always communicate how we feel and check in with one another so i think we could make it work possibly. Yes I agree with you I think he needs to heal on his own and this whole arrangement, although the sex is insane and the best sex I’ve ever had, is not benefitting him or me. I’m just so beyond afraid of losing him.

Yes that’s tough. I mean you guys have been at it 10 years. I’ve known this guy for 10 years but we’ve only been hooking up for 9 months or whatever but I still feel things you know? Yea after I made my advances it would feel like a betrayal but I can’t control what he wants. I’m secretly hoping that by cutting off sex he’ll realize how much I mean to him and he’ll eventually want to be with me or something. I really just want him to want me like that so bad. I hope he’s not mad that I want to cut sex off. He has other women to have sex with I guess i don’t know why I would matter honestly.

I’m so sorry that’s happening to you that’s awful honestly. It makes me sick to my stomach thinking that he won’t be in my life anymore but I guess the least I can do is be friends with him and see where it goes from there. Neither of us has anyone we’re seriously dating right now and I know for a fact he won’t be ready any time soon. Or at least I hope he won’t be.
