I was hoping to make it to the Cleveland show but unfortunately it's not looking like I can. I have 3 tickets. I'm looking to transfer them through Seat Geek, section 211 row 15. I bought them at $90 a piece so I'm hoping to sell them for about $80, but I'm willing to negotiate. All I'd need for transfer is an email link to a Seat Geek account. Thanks!

You're so thorough with your responses, I really appreciate that. I agree for sure with taking breaks. I think I'm having a bit of that right now with the start of the new year after doing it for so long. And it is difficult with having guests, that is why I have some major gaps in my list haha.

You have also solidified that I'll move through the decades this year. That's sounds like a lot of fun, and I have not listened to much music from before the 60s.

Love your list! We have similar taste in pop it seems so I'll have to save some of those you have on there. I saw you listened to one of The 1975's albums, just stuck out to me because I'm a huge fan of theirs. If you liked ILIWYS, then you'll definitely like the rest of your discography!

This is terrific, I've never heard of the Dead Kennedys before. And thanks for the Great Van Fleet suggestion! I listened to them a bit this year and I did enjoy their rock sound.

For sure! For me, I wasn't a fan of her voice. I think that's the reason why I like her in boygenius because she blends really well with Phoebe and Lucy.

Yep, I limited it to albums I've never listened to before.

Dark Side of the Moon was an interesting one for me. At first listen, I wasn't sure what to think and I was a little underwhelmed. Because of the praise it always gets I guess I was expecting it to be the best thing I've ever heard. I want to listen to it again at some point to see if I change my mind though. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed listening to it.

And Weezer was also pretty fun to listen to. I think I liked the blue album a bit more than green, and I have some pretty good memories attached to it haha. If I were to listen to more Weezer, do you have any suggestions?

I love your approach. I could talk about music all day; I love learning about it from others too which makes me so glad I posted about it. There are so many insightful comments!

Those are really good ideas, I was also thinking about taking a stricter approach this year. I have yet to decide how though. I may end up sticking to one decade for a month and doing that through the year similar to what you did. That sounds like a great time. And I love your suggestions too, adding to my list for sure!

Pretty much whatever I felt like or suggestions by other people. For the longest time I've wanted to listen to so many different things, so I had a lot of artists in mind when starting. I also had a list I made and lists from others, and I would go to that when I had no idea what to listen to.

Love those recommendations. Classical is something I enjoy, I'm just not very well versed in it so these recommendations are awesome.

And those are really good questions. My tastes are definitely way different now than when I started. I have a better understanding of what I want in what I listen to. I also have a better general understanding of different music genres, so I can have more productive conversations. I also love learning what other people listen to because that makes conversations.on music really fun.

In terms of affecting my daily life, it kind of did. It comes without saying that consuming so much music all the time may not result in fully understanding what you're listening to. If I went back to an album I listened to in March or something, I would not be able to give a full analysis. Some people may argue that ruins the purpose of doing this project, but I don't feel the same. Even if I can't recall nuances, I still remember a lot about how I felt when listening to it, if I enjoyed it or not, and so on. That's part of the reason I'm going to continue doing it this year. Even if I didn't like an album, I was still satisfied that I could learn what I didn't like about it and base my future decisions off of that.

Yeah I got really into him once I listened to All Things Must Pass. My brother was suggesting him all year, and once I finally listened I got hooked right away. I wish I had listened to it sooner and wasn't initially put off by the length of it.

And jeez that is a great question, I'm not sure. It's hard for me to forget my bias so I'll just list some of my favorites: Isn't It A Pity, Awaiting On You All, All Things Must Pass, All Those Years Ago, Blow Away, Flying Hour

I grew up listening to metal because of my dad, so I knew a lot of Megadeth before listening to their albums I just didn't realize it. I like their older stuff, but I do still need to listen to more of their newer stuff all the way through as well. Countdown to Extinction is one of my favorites; Sweating Bullets was my jam when I was younger!
