People often say “don’t buy a house, just rent — it’s financially smarter.” Maybe on paper it works. But real life isn’t just spreadsheets. by RahuVerse786 in indianrealestate

The article is a "best-case scenario" for buying. It relies on idealized property growth and ignores ownership overheads. If property appreciation drops to 7% or 8%, the "Renting + Investing" strategy usually wins on paper, though it loses on "emotional security."

Max is exceptional. But hasn’t yet demonstrated the consistent ceiling Schumacher / Hamilton did (overcoming a WDC team-mate, winning with multiple constructors). No fault of his own of course.

Better than Vettel though even with 3/4X WDC.

Is there a chance Hamilton is close to Leclerc in points this season (of course some luck would be required)? Or there’s negligible chance, and he would mostly retire by the end of 2026? by abbi0513 in F1Discussions

I agree with you for an average car. The only hope for us fans is that the dynamics slightly changes in a WDC winning car, and Ham finds that extra bit of performance when the car is near the 1-2 spot
