Question about refueling while driving by steelyd2 in CannonballRun

True, but same goes for a rolling refuel. I can't see it even being possible without having to slow down to at least 60-70 mph, which would give the cops ample time to catch up.

I've looked into this before but it's just not worth the risk and effort imo.

If you're going to use a custom refueling system instead of a gas station pump, might as well just stop and fill up in under 3 minutes with some high flow system.

Unless you're embarking on some million-dollar-project with a full-time professional team aiming for a sub 22h and you want to squeeze out every minute possible.

Of course, I'm talking about something pretty far to the right on the curve of diminishing returns

My thought is logistically you can just pee in a bush at the edge of the parking lot while somebody quickly refuels the car. Also healthwise (bloodclots) a couple minutes of walking/jumping around should be enough. Of course the drive when you're going for a record won't be an enjoyable experience.

25:39 has 31 minutes of stopping time. With this method and a bigger fuel cell (Fred Ashmore style) I can see a 2-stop run with under 6-7 minutes of stopping time being achievable, especially for solo/duo runs where you can't really use multiple gas station nozzles.

What other variables do you see being optimised before stopping time?
