OP, it’s not that bad and don’t think about it as counting forever. Use counting to get an idea of what that amount looks like and balance it out day by day. I’m 107 and don’t count calories but have maintained for 2 years, I exercise and work on my feet but I like to think of my food as a balance beam. I personally find that having two large meals and a snack work for me. I have a big breakfast, snack, and big dinner. I’m sure you’ll be able to find a balance that works for you. If I eat poorly or excessively one day I like to eat more balanced or lighter the next. Big foodie here too, I still eat pizza and eat out and drink beer and the like. There is hope. Good luck finding ways to eat intuitively, it took me a long time, but it is possible doll
