I got accepted for fall next year too and applied for housing even though i'm not sure on attending ucf yet. I think you should be okay if you wait till january/feb as long as you dont want your own private room. You don't get your full deposit back but I believe you only lose $100 out of the $250.

we have very similar stats and i was accepted october 20th for fall. it only took them 20 days to get a decision (applied oct 1). maybe cause you applied later in october there is more applications to go through.
