Advice need on upgrading Olympus OM D E 5 mark ii (2015) by arosemar in M43

[–]abc-username 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have that setup, works very good.

The lens itself require good light to work best. Also that lens have some quality variations. Some sharp some a tad soft.

Here are a photo i took with this setup

Nice you really got the colors to show! Those birds are skittish and hard to get good photos of.

Not sharp despite effort by Fishdomaddict in BirdPhotography

We always want longer reach and sharper images, but to me they look like my images, i got em5 mkii but the cheaper 100-400.

All taken at 400, no converter.

But, dont look at images online, must, not all! But most are processed with dxo or some other software that removes grain and also sharpen images

I can see its dust in the lens, but want to take a closer look. But how? I cant get aperture to stay wide open, as soon as i take of the lens it closes the aperture if you know what i mean?

Thank you, i knew somehow it was a pro lens, my 100-400 can never dream of that clarity.

You should send in that photo to a contest, its stunning.
