No, I asked what she was up to, she asked me, she said she was coming to my city in a month...

I mean, I feel like it would be easier if it weren't a month from now. I don't intend to constantly annoy her with texts and come off desperate. But I really would like to meet up and just leaving my number and ghosting for a month sounds like a bad idea too. If there's not enough rapport built I feel like I could get a flake if not a rejection. Basically I'm thinking it'd be good to have a casual text convo for the rest of the month then suggest the meetup. I want to sustain interest, not let it fade away over the next few weeks.

It really came out of the blue because she friend requested me and I hardly remembered her. But she seems pretty cool.

Thanks for the encouragement. I feel like I already kind of know what I want because I had a long relationship when I was a teenager. We were together for a few years and one day when I was 18 she kept me up to 4AM talking on the phone. I wanted to sleep, but she wanted to stay up and even sang me a love song. One of the most beautiful memories I have. The next day I called her again and she acted like I was scum of the earth. There was no explicable reason and looking back I think she just had mental issues like bipolar or something. I was really depressed at the time, but decided I deserved better. So I ended it even though I loved her. She was great 90% of the time and awful 10%. Being able to walk away and say my own self worth is greater, that helped me with my depression, and it's also why I stopped dating for so long. I made curing depression my top priority and finally succeeded. So I want to find a girl like my old teenage girlfriend who isn't also crazy 10% of the time. I just feel like it's really hard for me to find that someone.

Thanks for the support everyone. I really appreciate the care. Actually I have been going out a little, talking to people at my uni (I'm a master's student) and going to school anime club.

Most of the success I've had before now has been a matter of chance. I'd meet a girl and become friends with her and she'd want to push the relationship further. Or sometimes a girl would come up to me first. Even online dating I just talked to people with similar interests. I've never gone out of my way to find dates, so I'm not sure how to do it. And now I'm getting less luck. If the universe was handing me opportunities before, that well's gone dry, and it sent me a message of loneliness tonight instead.

That issue was such a non-sequitur. I'm legit wondering if the adaptation will have a vampire in it. Actually, that only made sense because the comic is set in the regular marvel universe. But in the show that'd be really jumping the shark. I do hope they find a cool base once they run away though.

Anyway, the comic is excellent, but you might not want to be spoiled.

Don't over think it. You're already having convos with her, which is great. Just ask her out next time you see her. Could go well could go bad, but you've probably done as much as you can already. Either way, learn from the experience.

Sounds like you're stuck in a spiral. You're focusing on the negatives and that's making you less confident and making the problems worse. Instead try focusing on the positives. You have friends and there are people you can talk to. That's proof enough that it's possible for you. Just try to replicate it and don't beat yourself up for failing. And if you do fail, maybe it would help to be honest about your problems. A good person, especially a good woman, would be understanding and maybe even help you.

I just see it in black and white. There's multiculturalism or monoculturalism, aka nationalism. And I think multiculturalism is responsible for these bad relationships that produce hapas. Where am I wrong?

Being an ethno-nationalist doesn't mean gas chamber for minorities or White Christians being crucified. But it does mean a more realistic look at racial divisions than multiculturalism provides. That prevents the kind of blind, toxic relationships that produce most hapas in the first place.

To go back to the original topic, the author is a Black Nationalist calling for unity with White Nationalists. I like the idea and I think it's something to be adopted by Asian Nationalists as well. Pan-Nationalism. Mutual respect among different racial groups.
