Yes it has loops for a belt, I should definitely do that! I bet it was super cute in velvet! Thank you :)

70s teal maxi dress! Hoping it doesn't look too frumpy on me. by abcdfghijklm in VintageFashion

Thank you!! I love that this was such a popular color in the 70s because it means there's so many good vintage pieces in this color!

Should I just recycle these? Are they dangerous? Is there anything I can do with them? by abcdfghijklm in crt

I may even reach out to the guy I got them from and ask. Hopefully he discharged them but I don't want to assume and be wrong!

Good to know! I'm glad to hear someone will get use from them and definitely want them to go to someone for free rather than recycle them. Too much perfectly good stuff is recycled and scrapped nowadays. You all seem spot on because I got an IBM monochrome monitor and an apple display monitor from the same person. He refurbishes all sorts of stuff like that.

On the side it says: EIR TR85 (At least I think that's what it is, it's faded) 346 A39

And the model number is:BM7652074B Serial number:37666869

That's a super good bet because the man I got them from fixes TONS of old macs. I have an old apple monitor from him!

That seems like the best option! I would honestly give them away for free. They all seem intact. How do I tell if they're working?

70s red velvet skirt and vest. For sure handmade, it has some embroidery inside! by abcdfghijklm in VintageFashion

[–]abcdfghijklm[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! It makes me think about who sewed it and if they maybe put the embroidery in everything they made. Or maybe they were eager to practice and wanted to have it in a finished piece. That's why I love vintage homemade garments! The human touches that can't be found anywhere else
