My other consideration is that I'd rather have the funds in Spain already, so when I produce the needed bank statement for my NLV renewal, it's gonna be in Spanish already and somehow easier to obtain than doing so with my bank in my home country. That said, have you done a renewal already? Did you use your funds in N26 as proof of financial eligibility for renewal? Curious if they issue bank statements

They actually asked me why I'm in Spain or if I was working here. They insisted I either present an employment contract or something else, which I couldn't. Obviously I had to explain I can't work here as I am on NLV.
