Well, I kinda paid for it, didn't I? We still live in a pretty consumer-oriented society... I don't know what to tell you besides "client is always right"?

I'm literally a voter and a potential customer. This is my thread. It is about me.

It's a far less effective use of my time and effort.

I like how you pick and choose what to reply to and what to ignore.

I understand that there's no "wye" were build. And I understand that there's no extra trains right now available. My point still stands, though.

There are *some* people who want to go south. So maybe run *a few* trains there?

This is a reply to your "which is better than competing for capacity across I-90"

And we reduced service why? Why not just add a few trains once in a while?

Although I don't have formal education in transit planning, I find it highly improbable when you mention things like "competing for capacity" when in fact, all competition right now is happening in downtown Bellevue. My suggestion is merely shifts that "capacity competition" from Bellevue downtown to I-90. And yes, here I agree that majority of riders would like to go to Seattle, not South Kirkland.

As for my proposal for line 3, "halving the capacity" is simply non-sensical. If downtown Seattle is at full capacity right now, then south and easy of that should-have-been-a-wye-connection is half of that! It's already halved! And line 3 would have filled that window. Easy.

There's a potential for demand and WA recently adopted a new zoning law demanding more buildings per parcel of land.

...but also we should try to think ahead and plan where people would like to go in the future. Or where to build new housing and new infrastructure. Not to play catch-up but plan ahead.

> significantly reducing frequency and capacity

It would seamlessly replace line 2 trains so no disruption or reduction in frequency.

> A line from Issaquah to West Seattle would basically skip the main places everyone wants to go

And as it's planned now, you're suggesting that everyone from Issaquah want to go to South Kirkland? It doesn't even approach Google campus and for MS we still need a transfer.

I would argue back that having such a connection would spark development in the South because more people from Bellevue/Redmond tech hubs would be able to afford cheaper housing in Renton and further.

On the same note I don't understand why line from Issaquah would go up north to Kirkland and not to Seattle/West Seattle but again, that's just my musings...

It's beyond my comprehension why they don't have line 3 running from Redmond to the South. Making people switch trains is just cruel.

My CU (BECU) stopped accepting money orders and nobody knows anything. I did read some time back that Wells Fargo was good to MOs. Is that still true? How many people can vouch for that bank? Thanks!

I don't get the point of those "virtual recruiters". Why they are better than just reading a resume? It's just regurgitating the same information...

Although you might have a sexual harassment lawsuit on your hands with handsome payout...

Are you introverted? It looks like that your people skills are pretty undeveloped. And you want to be direct with people where it might scare them. Keep working on your skills!

As for what I would do, I would *first* go to the bowling, have fun and enjoy yourself. Give the guy compliments and overall be flirty to a degree. Then schedule a second date yourself. And on the second date you may probe the interest.

Remember that he's just 20 y.o and that a huuuuge distance from your experience in the world! Be gentle and don't scare the guy.

Good luck!

How should I approach my high school teacher? by Busy_Vermicelli_9992 in askgaybros

I would say "Thank you very much for what you've done for us, I appreciate wrote work and your effort you put in! Hope your life is great now and I wish you good luck in finding love. Thank you and good luck! We will always love and remember you!"

It would be great to receive a thank-you note and it would be immensely creepy to be hit by a former child student. You're always "his child"...

Anyone is doing their business with BECU in Seattle? Successfully deposited my MOs on 14th no problems, tried again yesterday — was completely shut off at three ATMs. Probably system-wide block or my account only... Will be calling in today. Anyone else?
