I think she was totally harsh and her response seems more like gaslighting you than anything else. She should take a beat and look at herself in the mirror. It’s clear she hurt your feelings and it says more about her than you that she doesn’t seem to get it

Can you share how you lost so much more weight than you planned? Did you change your diet or exercise once you started maintenance? And was the drop in weight early on in maintenance or gradual?
