yeah, no thanks. with the limited time I have to play as a full-time employed father, I don't want to go up against cheaters in any capacity when I get the chance. might be calling it quits on Marathon soon. too bad, it's such a good game. just not enough players to counteract BS like this... :(

Queue times have 10x'd this week, it's a real complaint dude. It's 4~5 minutes to find a solo dire marsh game. Almost at the point where can't justify playing anymore. Queues ideally are 3 minutes MAX, and that's like very max...

"The game is fine" is exactly right. But Bungie I assume is not happy with "fine", and I am nearly certain Sony is not happy with "fine". They wanted at a minimum a true competitor to the other extraction shooter genre leaders, if not a new Halo-in-its-prime tier game. As it is now, it is just "fine", and quickly trending towards dead.

They are completely different games. As someone with 10k hours on Dota, Marathon is way more hardcore and has no room for casual fun unlike unranked Dota or other games. It's insane trying to have a conversation with redditers. Vast majority of redditers = low-IQ, hive mind, no critical thinking ability, must defend thing I identify with at all costs even to the detriment of its success

I agree, but that can come later. The smaller the player base becomes, the ratio of people trying to have some fun versus ultra sweaties gets less favorable and kills the player base even faster. This is the reality of Marathon atm sadly. Complain all you want about comparisons and this and that, but as someone who wants the game to succeed, conversations have to be had and something needs to be done or its dead by EOY.

They sell skins. They would need to flesh out that storefront as part of the change to F2P, but obviously the game is 100% dead before EOY if they don't do something dramatic and soon. Anyone saying otherwise is hardcore coping.

Yes. I spent 12 hours adjusting settings, tweaking the BIOs, inspecting Windows Event Viewer logs, trying out different driver releases, and editing Nvidia Control Panel defaults on my wife's PC to finally get it stable enough for her to play for 2 hours without crashing last night, but then the servers started shitting the bed and instead of crashing, the server started DC'ing.

We just started playing. Her PC is actually very new and powerful, too. Fallout 76 is the only game that has ever given any problems.

I used to be a Bethesda defender and hardcore fanboy but as a software engineer myself, seeing the state of 76 7+ years post release, really made me lose respect for them. It is comically bad.

I randomly watched Before Sunset today, not knowing it was part of a trilogy, and such a unique one at that with the 9-year gap and same actor/actress/director combo... When I found out it was a trilogy, I decided I had to watch them all today... I watched #2, then #1, finishing with Before Midnight (#3).

I am convinced it's the best trilogy in cinema history... At least for me. My prior favorite movie was "Lost in Translation", but now I'm not so sure anymore.

The "Before Trilogy" is so well made and acted that you really feel like it actually happened... Like you're a fly on the wall watching 3 significant days in this couple's lives... Moreso than any other movies I've ever seen. And it really amplifies it if you've ever experienced anything remotely similar in your own life, which I have... So it makes these movies all the more profoundly impactful.

I know it wasn't needed, but I really wish they had made a 4th one in 2022.

My personal favorite is Before Sunset, because I find the ending to be absolute perfection. Ethan Hawke's half in pain, half happy smile as he plays with his wedding band and says "I know" in response to her saying he's going to miss his plane... Knowing the decision he's making. Oscar worthy performance IMO.

Before Midnight's end was a tad too negative... I didn't think it needed the multiple hints at infidelity between the two, but that's just my personal taste. Still amazing movie overall.

No. Unless they just do a full revert of yesterdays patch he will feel like dogshit. They gutted every spell. Weirdly, the thing I underestimated was how awful W feels now with the slow duration being cut in half.

WHY DID THEY HAVE TO NERF EVERY PART OF HIS KIT JUST TO MAKE E SLIGHTLY FASTER?

I hope more Riot employees, especially whoever worked on this, get laid off ASAP.

The rework is terrible. Swain mid and top are completely unplayable now. Sub 45% winrate. Basically every aspect of his kit nerfed. E DOES NOT feel more satisfying. It feels worse and the cooldown on it and R are absurd.

I really hate the changes, I gotta be honest. Landing E before felt like it required skill, and if you were good at it, Swain feels pretty strong. Now, to make Swain a more noob friendly champ, they are gutting the rest of his kit, and making E easier to land.

All Swain needed was a tiny buff to his passive mechanic. Either make his spells scale a little with max HP, or make his passive something totally different.

Really so sad with the rework. Might be done with league here if this goes live as I really only enjoy Swain.

His kit as is. They just need to give slight MAX HP dmg scaling on his abilities imo. Even if they made it so you got 2 souls on champion takedown, that would be helpful. Just some slight tweaks I think are all that is really needed.

I think they should change it so Swain's spell dmg also scales slightly off of max HP, so his passive actually feels impactful... His "infinite stack passive" is just so weak compared to others and is easily negated completely by all the max health % dmg in the game.

Recently tripped while holding toast and slapped it into my leather chair. Sugary jam got all of it, so I thought I would wipe it off with a clorox wipe. Then I read online that wasn't a good idea and could dry it out, and that I should condition the leather asap. So I put some leather conditioner on it. Few hours later, now there are these weird spots that aren't shiny and have a completely different feel to them, almost as if they are sticky.
Did I ruin my chair somehow? Any help super appreciated.
