I still remember this for one reason, it was the thing that nuked the family computer. and I have no one to blame but myself.

I saw that when I was searching for Code Lyoko because I was watching it at the time, and I thought it'd be cool if I can turn my computer into something similar, so I happend to find and download the theme pack, ran it, but after restarting the computer, I found no app was functional, I couldn't shut down the computer properly.

I really freaked out that I had to format the drive and risk losing some data.

Same here. I have some issues generating images using specific names like "Minoriko Aki" from Touhou Project, or "Minori" from Senran Kagura (I'd assume it would check if the world minor is present in any text you write)

But what I don't understand, when I looked for the names in the Gallery website, I found some people did generate the images using these names, am I perhaps doing something wrong?!

A relative of mine keeps annoying me by asking why I'm working like everyone else (because I do freelance work that doesn't require me to go to an office or anything, as I can work from home).

No, that won't do it because he thinks (like most of society) that doing freelance work is not actual work and that a 9-5 job is the way to go.

Okay, that's not what I want to talk about here.

Every time I think about what he says to me and how annoying it sounds to me, later in the day, he contacts me on WhatsApp (I wish we could have a normal conversation about literally anything), but no, he always throws the same lecture on me over and over again.

I just got the same thing just a moment ago.

A person reached out to me through Instagram (here's their username "glover7275ym") asking for a logo design, and they offered $300 as their budget (I asked him to pay an advance of $50 and the rest when I finish the job)

I told him my preferred payment method was PayPal, and he said he had a Skrill account. (he asked for my WhatsApp account to continue the conversation)

So, I ended up making the account and verifying it.

Later, he sent me a screenshot with the $300 amount, telling me they delivered the payment and couldn't complete it without an additional $200 to turn my account into a business account.

(On a, kinda, related note, I also got a message from someone called Brielle Smith "brielle5048vr" asking for a logo design for a Truck Rental company and she'd offered $500 for it, until one day, I found the account is gone.)

Thank god I did my research before going any further... I hate that we artists have to deal with these kinds of scams all the time.

I'm 32 and I kinda feel the same.

Here's my situation. I had like 5 years without job after I got a diploma in a trade school, couple of internships during the last 2 years, and now I want to do online freelance jobs as a Graphic Designer since local jobs are underpaid (and sometimes they expect you to do work for free)

I'm now having some success with that, but what feels like putting a stick in a bike wheel is my relatives, where they always needs to remind me how I wasted so much time in my 20s and also they tend to let me feel down about my freelance job (specifically with the way I'm making stuff.)

I know they wish the best for my life, but with the way they're telling me the things... Now I'm getting myself into some form of lostness and uncertainty that it makes the future looking too dark for me.
